On Saturday, Zero Hour launched the website www.joinjuliana.org and its nationwide #JoinJuliana campaign to help young people add their names to the Young People’s amicus (“friend of the court”) brief in support of the Juliana v. United States plaintiffs. The brief will be filed with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on March 1, 2019.
Since Saturday, more than 3,000 young people have added their names in support of the brief , they have over 25k supporters!

For weeks now, our friends and allies have been fighting for Intro 1253 — a new bill in City Hall that would clean up wasteful commercial buildings in the city of New York by mandating emissions cuts through retrofits and other measures.

NYC’s buildings are its top source of climate pollution, and just 2% of the biggest buildings are responsible for 70% of those emissions. Intro 1253 would slash building emissions by 80% by 2050, and put countless New Yorkers to work with good, green new jobs. In spite of all these benefits, the real estate industry is trying its hardest to kill this bill.
