On Sunday July 13th we’ll come together in Washington, DC, to send a decisive message to President Obama and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission: say “NO!” to fracked gas exports!

It’s a critical time to act. FERC is nearing a decision on a proposed fracked gas export facility at Cove Point, on the fragile and important Chesapeake Bay. For far too long, FERC has put the interests of the oil and gas industry above our health, safety and climate, rubber-stamping project after project. It’s time to say “ENOUGH!”

We’ll join movement leaders like Tim DeChristopher and Sandra Steingraber to call on President Obama and FERC to reject gas exports, at Cove Point and nationwide, and instead redouble investments in the wind, solar and energy efficiency technologies that will support good jobs and a stable climate for all.

The bus will leave from 8th Ave. and 34th St. at 8:00 am, and will return by 9:00 pm. Tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/new-york-busing-for-first-national-stop-gas-exports-tickets-11968332605
